My wedding gown was the first one I tried on & it fit perfectly - much to my delight, since I was expecting a long and arduous process! I loved it immediately & still do. It’s a stunning gown & having had such a fantastic experience wearing it I think another bride should have that privilege too.
This gown is an ivory Damasia (UK 8) by Pronovias with a mermaid silhouette & dramatic train, originally retailing at £1890.00. It is made from chantilly lace and silk, & has been recently professionally dry-cleaned & boxed in acid-free tissue.
The listing also includes a brand new single-tier fingertip veil (seen in the first pic, which I chose not to wear in the end) worth £60.00 & custom-made dress box worth £165.00.
Sizing & Alterations
Hem: The petticoat hem beneath has been shortened as I'm 5' 3" but the outer layers retain their original length as I wanted to retain the full effect of the mermaid silhouette, so if you're taller than I am you could still get the external hem altered to fit your height or as you wish.
Sleeves: The gown originally had long lace sleeves, which were used to create shorter ones with a cap silhouette. Perfect for showing off your arms & a more youthful look (the long sleeves made me look far older than I was!).
Bodice: Sweetheart neckline on a form-fitting lace-covered bodice with a white grosgrain ribbon around the waist which can be easily removed if you like. The chantilly lace also has cream-coloured sequins throughout for a little extra sparkle.
Skirt: Form-fitting until the just above the knees so it has a distinctive mermaid silhouette but still allows for easy movement. There is a loop which can be used to bustle the dress for dancing, although I chose to leave the train down for our first dance.
Closure: An invisible zip running down the centre back, covered by a row of decorative buttons.

I'd prefer a London pickup but feel free to get in touch for alternative arrangements. (:
